The Sebeka Community:

            Sebeka, MN is a small town located where US Hwy 71 and Co Rd 12 (formally known as State Hwy 227) cross.  It has a heritage of being the town that is “small enough to know you, large enough to serve you.” 

Sebeka was incorporated as a town in 1898, during a time when logging around the area was very popular.  Its name comes from the Native American Ojibwe word meaning “town by the water.” 

Today, Sebeka is considered a rural community with many agricultural areas.  It is located close to vast pine forests and lakes, in an area ideal for camping and experiencing the great outdoors. 

Important places within the community include a K-12 Public School, nine different churches, a bank, a grocery store, a city park, a post office, gas stations, fire department, police department, medical clinic, and many other notable businesses and sites.  For more information, you can check out
